Samanta Erdini

CEO & Director

Our Director & Founder of SparkleS StudioS, Samanta Erdini, alias "Samy" was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1986.
Ever since she was a little girl she wanted, more than anything, to draw, and create Characters and worlds from her imagination. 
She started to work as a professional at age 19 in Patagonik Film Group (Argentina).
Since then she had worked for 7 years doing pre-production for 2D and 3D Tv series, Films and many others projects internationally. 

Lived Netherlands Working for Video Games apps and others. 
Settle in Mexico City now, she worked Freelance for brands like Disney, Lego, etc. Doing most Visual Development, Character Design and Story Board. 

Ilse Estrada

Producer

Our Producer & Founder of SparkleS StudioS, Ilse Estrada from Mexico but lived most of her life in Netherlands, she worked in the profesional animation industry since 1999, worked as a 3D Modeler and Animator in Spain and study to be a Producer. Now she is producing the new 2d tv show SparkleS is developing.

Sergio Videla

Background Director

Our Background Director & Founder of SparkleS StudioS, started work professionally since 2011 in the world of animation and Illustration. Worked in many international productions as a freelancer and the industry most settle in Mexico City, Then he had the opportunity to be the Background Supervisor on Huevo Cartoon Productions. Now he is bringing magic to the new 2d series we are Development.

Rafael Luna

Animation Director

Our Animation Director & Founder, Rafael Luna worked in the animation industry since 2000. Was a 2d animator for 18 years of experience, with his talent he had the possibility to be an animation director in several projects, most in Huevo Cartoon. Now he is directing animation in a new tv show we are Development.

Beli de la Torre

Ink & Paint Supervisor 

Beli de la Torre is an artist from Mexico City who splits her time working on comics, illustration, and animation as a Cleanup artist and Ink & Paint supervisor. Her clients include studios like Huevocartoon, Perfect Combo, Bromio, Homa and others. on 2015 she earned an Art grant from the Mexican National Fund for the Culture and Arts to work on a graphic novel. Currently works at SparkleS for an upcoming project.

Simon Varela

Production Designer

If you've ever seen 'Finding Nemo,''Corpse Bride" or a number of other family hit films, then you've probably seen Simon's work or a variation, thereof. Simon is known in the film and animation world as an amazing talent and has conceptualized and created some of films most memorable characters and settings. He was the Production Designer of The book of Life, directed by Jorge Gutierrez and produced by Guillermo del Toro, now he is bringing his creative on the 2d project SparkleS is developing.

Edison Goncalves

2D Lead Animator

Edison has been a Classical Animator, Illustrator and Character Designer for 3 decades. Born and raised in Brazil, he moved to Ireland to pursue his dream in feature films and relocated to the US in 1994.  He has dedicated his life to creating art that appeals to children and adults alike all over the world.

Darlie Brewster

2d Lead Animator

Darlie has been in animation since 1979. She is a Canadian and went through 2 years of the Classical Animation program at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. She had worked on Rock and Rule where she was one of the animators on the character “Mok” (Nelvana Animation). Her areas of specialization include animation, storyboarding, character design, illustration, web art, painting and sculpting. She’s worked as a supervising animator on over 20 features including such notable films as All Dogs go to Heaven, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Prince of Egypt, Osmosis Jones, Looney Tunes: Back in Action and the 2D Kung Fu sequence in Horton hears a Who. In addition, she’s also worked on a whole bunch of television shows and commercials. Now she is Leading 2d Animation for Sparkles Studios.

Len Simon

2D Lead Animator

Len was recruited by Sullivan/Bluth Studios Ireland, where he was rapidly promoted to Directing Animator. From Ireland, he moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1994 and was one of the original staff of Fox Animation Studios. While at Fox, Len was one of the main leads on Anastasia and was promoted to Animation Director in charge of all the character animation on Bartok the Magnificent and Titan AE. With Fox Animation’s closure in 2000, Len established his own studio with his business partner James Stoyanof. Len has worked on more than a dozen classically animated feature films, recent films include: Prince of Egypt, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, 8 Crazy Nights, Fat Albert, Curious George, as well as a number of European animated features.  His experience also includes television work, CD Rom, internet games, casino games, animated shorts, commercials and animated pilots. Now he is Leading 2d for Sparkles StudioS.
